Help needed! Looking for reviewers
getfursu.it is looking for volunteers for a community-driven reviews process. Wanna help shape getfursu.it data set? Want to give a little of your time to the Community? Join the experiment.
Can't help? Sharing/boosting on social media will be appreciated!
What does a reviewer do?
- Reads the submissions in the New status. Checks the provided information, links.
-
Tries to answer the questions:
- Should this studio be listed on getfursu.it?
- If yes, does it need to improve the provided information, links? How?
- If not, why? What valuable feedback can we send in response?
- Shares any feedback and concerns with other participants of the review process.
- Upvotes/downvotes other reviewers' feedback. Responds, discusses.
What tools does a reviewer have?
- Unfortunately, there is not much now. Partially because this is an experiment, I have no clue how it goes and how much time it's worth investing in development.
- There is a very simple reviews system allowing discussing the submissions and upvoting/downvoting others' posts.
- This system may be improved depending on the outcomes of the experiment, and the reviewers' feedback/requests.
- We could use FursuitReview's Discord server for instant messaging (link on the contact page).
- There are the (old) guidelines.
- I'm trying to rewrite the guidelines into instructions for reviewers, here (link may change). This is the-most-work-in-progress part here, I believe. Your feedback, as a reviewer, will help shape this.
How much time does a reviewer need to spend on reviews?
There is no commitment. Hey, a few minutes weekly is more help, than I have now.
Who can be a reviewer?
Anyone who wants to spend some time helping. Respect for other people is required, as well as the common sense.
Have questions?
Ask them through the email or social media. You can also submit anonymous feedback (e.g. "I think you should explain this and that").
Wanna join the experiment?
Please contact me (email is preferred, since I need your address anyway to create an account for you) - "I want to take part in the getfursu.it reviews experiment". Feel free to add links to some of your social accounts if you have any.
